Content policy (video and Bulletin Board)

The access producer is responsible for the content of the programming. APAC has the right to restrict programming that may bring civil or criminal legal action.  Programming must neither promote nor have any association with criminal activity.  Programming must not contain obscenity or indecent sexual or violent programming content.  The town of Ayer has the right to create regulations that may affect programming content.  Copyrights must not be infringed upon.   APAC must be consulted about questionable programming content. APAC has the right to set the programming schedule as it sees fit.  The schedule may be adjusted to accommodate programming that is inappropriate for a general audience.  By law, access producers have the right to record any public meeting (MGL Part1,Title VII). Public meetings may not be recorded during executive session and access producers are asked to display the APAC placard on the camera or tripod.

 

Responsibilities

The access producer shall be responsible for learning the proper and safe use of all public access equipment.

APAC shall not be held liable for any misuse of equipment or any damages resulting from such misuse.

Equipment must be returned on time.

 

APAC has the right to temporarily or permanently restrict the access producers privileges if this policy is

 violated or for any reason it sees fit.
